The State Technical School for Electrical Engineering in Altötting offers its graduates the opportunity to take additional qualifications as part of the CAD / CAE subject, in the form of the ECT exam (EPLAN CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN).

This certification provides the participants with a meaningful basis for starting their future professional activity as an electrical planner with a focus on EPLAN.

For example, the former student J. Bernauer successfully participated in the ECT certification and has worked exceptionally successfully as an electrical designer at WIERER GmbH, a medium-sized company with a focus on control and system engineering, since graduating as a state-certified technician in summer 2016 .

Mr. Bernauer is mainly responsible for creating and maintaining the master data.

At WIERER GmbH, in addition to EPLAN Electric P8 (versions 2.2 to 2.7), the add-ons EPLAN Smart Wiring and EPLAN Pro Panel are also in use.
